Low power real-time clock chip (RTC) BL5372

◉ BL5372 is a low-power real-time clock circuit. It can communicate with the CPU in real time through the I2C two-wire interface circuit. It is mainly used in all systems that need to provide a time base. The chip can generate a variety of periodic interrupt pulses (the longest period can be up to 1 month) and has two time reporting systems. BL5372 has an internal integrated low-power regulated power supply, so it can keep the oscillator working normally at a very low power consumption under harsh environmental conditions (typical value: 400nA@3.6V).

 

◉ BL5372 has the function of crystal oscillator stop detection latch. By detecting this bit, the validity of the internal clock data can be detected.

◉ BL5372 has a built-in digital time adjustment circuit to ensure high accuracy of the clock, and has two crystal oscillator selection modes of 32KHz and 32.768KHz. This product is fully compatible with Ricoh RS5C372A.
