Who is Cyntec, and who makes the CMLS series?

Cyntec Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of power magnetics, power modules, transformers, EMC components and current-sensing products. The CMLS power choke series is designed and produced in-house by Cyntec — metal-alloy dust core, molded body and winding are all made under its own process, and the parts ship under the Cyntec brand with full lot traceability.

Is the CMLB series RoHS-compliant and lead-free?

Yes. CMLB parts are 100 % lead-free and RoHS-compliant, as declared on the individual Cyntec datasheets. Body and terminal materials meet current RoHS substance limits, so the parts can be designed into end products sold into the EU, China and other RoHS-regulated markets. REACH and halogen-free declarations are available on request.
